Dixie Youth Baseball Scholorship

Time for the 2021 graduating seniors in high school that played DYB when ages 12 and under to print the 2021 Scholarship application from our website and start collecting documents. The deadline for submission of a COMPLETED application (ALL required documents) is February 1, 2021!

Noah Flynn

Noah Flynn graduated from Alexandria Senior High. He is the son of Brian Flynn and Kimberly Flynn. He was accepted to LSU in the LSU Ogden Honors College and will focus on pre-med. Noah played tee ball and finished with the Dixie boys league. He went on to work concessions for Dixie Youth for 3 years. He was a member of the National Honor Society, ASH Student Counsel, Trojan Mentors, Key Club, and Spanish Club. He held a 3.6 to 3.9 GPA his entire high school career while working part time at a local law firm, Gold, Weems, Bruser, Sues & Rundell and the Grand Theatre.

Hunter Seneca a former DYBA player was a 2018 recipient.

Looking forward to 2021

DYBA has been following the Corona virus updates and guidelines from Dixie Youth Baseball along with federal and state guidelines and recommendations while trying to plan our season for next year.

Living with the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, the DYBA board is giving a great amount of thought to the safety of everyone connected to our league. The health of our players, coaches, umpires, employees, volunteers, families and fans is the most important thing to us during these difficult times.

This site is for registration for Boys Youth Baseball.

We do have a WEE TEE division for 4 year old boys and girls.

Girls age 5 and older who want to play SOFTBALL need to to go to    to register.

Dixie Youth Baseball of Alexandria

As a local youth baseball league Dixie Youth Baseball of Alexandria (DYBA) strives to implant firmly in the children of our community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted,stronger and happier children and will grow up to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens, all while  letting them be children, have fun and enjoy their childhood by participating in an organized sport. It is our goal to do our part to shape the leaders of tomorrow.
